Welcome to Danceland/Boomers, the exciting new experience in dining and dancing in the Capital Region!

Conveniently located in Colonie Plaza at 1892 Central Avenue in Colonie, Danceland/Boomers features a beautiful 2500 square foot floating, hardwood dance floor, state-of-the-art sound system, excellent food, quality entertainment, exceptional guest service, and plenty of free, well-lit parking at the front door.

Unlike any other dance facility in the area, Danceland features the finest Ballroom, Cajun, Country, and Latin music... and everything in between... for your dancing pleasure.

Boomers, the only club in the area that caters to the over 30 crowd, features the greatest Country and Oldies hits from the 50’s thru the 80’s for your dancing or listening pleasure.

So come visit us and enjoy our friendly atmosphere, and meet other dance lovers. Grab your partner, or ask someone to dance...and have a great time! All levels, from the curious, to the beginner, to the advanced, are welcome.

At Danceland/Boomers...

We play continuous, uninterrupted music. No unnecessary DJ talking, announcements, or drawings.

Our music is always played at comfortable volume levels so you can enjoy conversation.

We love requests and encourage you to approach the DJ for your favorite song.

Ladies...We have dance hosts available for your dancing pleasure at our Ballroom and Country dances.

Gift certificates from Danceland/Boomers are available in all denominations.

Our desire is to promote and encourage dancing in a friendly atmosphere and in cooperation with local dance studios and instructors. We offer free, limited Ballroom and Country Western dance lessons. The lessons are for new dancers only, and are basic. If you decide you would like to pursue dancing further, there are several fine local studios and instructors to choose from. Danceland does not refer, but will provide you with a complete list of local studios and instructors. Please call us for details.

We are always looking for entertainment acts of all kinds and performers of all ages. (please, no adult content) We have open stage time on Sunday afternoons to give you an opportunity to do your thing. Call and tell us about your act. We will then give you details and schedule your stage time. Amateurs welcome!
